No. Ryza is made using whole grain un-milled brown rice. By using the
whole grain the natural oils are retained, making it unnecessary to add
other oils or fats to our beverage. That means ryza is lower in fat than
most other rice beverages that often have added oil.

2. Does ryza have added sugar?
Ryza uses organic cane sugar in the chocolate variety. It acts as a
sweetener to balance the bitterness of the organic cocoa, resulting in
an indulgent chocolaty taste. There are no added sugars in any other
ryza product.

3. Is ryza suitable for vegetarian or other
special diets?
Yes. Ryza contains no animal products. It is completely cholesterol,
lactose and gluten free so it is an excellent choice for people with special
dietary needs.

Yes. Ryza is a 100% gluten free product and is suitable for use by people
with Celiac Disease.

5. What vitamins and minerals is ryza fortified
with?
Ryza has added Calcium, Vitamins A + D, and it contains natural
sources of other essential nutrients including thiamin, riboflavin, niacin and
phosphorous. These
nutrients are all part of a healthy diet.

6. What is the source of the added calcium in
ryza?
Calcium is added in the form of a mineral salt called calcium
phosphate tribasic.

7. Is ryza suitable as an infant formula?
No. Ryza should never be used as an infant formula. Consult with your
family doctor or pediatrician regarding products suitable for your infant.

8. Can I cook with ryza?
Absolutely. Ryza is an appropriate substitute for soy or milk in most of
your favourite recipes.

9. Can I freeze ryza?
We do not recommend that you freeze ryza, as the product will separate
when thawed. The product will be fine for cooking or baking after it has
been frozen but it may have a peculiar texture for drinking.
